International Reggae Day
July 1st has been designated International Reggae
Day, showcasing the impact reggae music has had on the
world. The on air and online media festival will be hosted by Jamaican media with
links to participating international media via the internet and over the telephone.
In celebration of International Reggae Day,
Ireggae did an all-day webcast which will feature: Nyahbinghi
Hour, Morgan Heritage's newest release "Live in Europe
2000", Tributes to Augustus Pablo, Joe Higgs and Dennis Brown, Interviews
with The Wailing Souls, Peter Broggs and others, an hour
of interviews and live performances from SNWMF, and dozens and dozens of
sound clips from musicians, djs, producers and promoters sending their message to the
world on International Reggae Day.

Jampro, participants from Jamaica include flagship television station CVM-TV, KLAS'
"The Entertainment Center", The Gleaner, FAME FM, ROOTS FM, The Barry G Show on
