Review:

Morgan Heritage, aka "The Royal Family of Reggae" mesmerized sold out audiences throughout Europe earlier this year on their "Tour 2000", which followed on the heals of their highly successful "Don't Haffi Dread" tour last year.

Siblings Peter, Roy (Gramps), Una, Nakhamya (Lukes), and Memmalatel Morgan team up to form the conscious livity known as Morgan Heritage. Their inspirational and heartical sounds can be heard throughout this excellent live recording, from the heavy opening Nyahbingi song "Jah Presence" all the way down to the title track of their last album "Don't Haffi Dread".   Their father, Denroy Morgan, whose own musical history needs no introduction, joins in on a portion of the album as well.

Morgan Heritage's high-energy live performances are punctuated by positive vibes, a spiritually and socially uplifting conscious message and praises unto the Most High.  Executive Producer Denroy Morgan did an excellent job in capturing these righteous attributes on Morgan Heritage - Live in Europe 2000, which is one of the greatest albums of the year and ranks with Bob Marley and Burning Spear as one of the best live reggae albums of all time.
