Luciano reasons with IREGGAE.COM about
his upcoming tour of the United States in
support of his brand new release "Great Controversy" on the Jet
Star label as well as "New Day" his album to be
released by VP Records next month. "What is music for?"
asks Luciano. "For the upliftment of the soul. To rekindle the spiritual fire
within the heart of man, that we can dance and sing around the sound of god." Luciano
discusses the close bond he has formed with Mikey General over the years.
He also talks his involvement with Tony Rebel on The
International Year of Volunteers project as well as a recent benefit he sponsered
for his former high school in Manchester. Refecting on his journeys to Africa, Luciano
states "I don't know how much longer I will be living in the western
hemishpere.
